Chapter members Robin Kill, Cindy Skinner, Vickie Ingman, Janet Mohr, Mickey McConahay, Deb Hardeman, Cathy Johnson, Marie Markward and Sheila Baltzell-Linn volunteered hours at the DAR America250! booth at the local Harvest Festival 2025 in Van Wert recently.
The booth included some patriotic youth activities and prizes promoting the upcoming America250! celebration and honoring our veterans. There was a tabletop corn hole game, Revolutionary War word searches and coloring pages. Information was also distributed to adults about Isaac Van Wart (our Chapter namesake), the Daughters of the American Revolution goals and becoming a member, along with honoring our local veterans by the Wreaths Across America project.
