Members of the Isaac Van Wart Chapter met on March 13, 2025 at Willow Bend Country Club in Van Wert for a regular meeting and a light lunch. Following was an informational talk by April Brown, of the Jonathan Dayton Chapter – NSDAR, who detailed the DAR Leadership Training Committee’s resources available to to all members. Included in those sessions, via video recordings, are learning opportunities about DAR committees, history, genealogy, membership skill-building and history. April explained that the courses are self-directed and available online 24-7. “Consider our leadership training because Knowledge is Power,” said April. Regent Debra Hardeman thanked April and encouraged members to consider this training.
